Belgrave - complete kitchen re-design and renovation

This small kitchen was in need of not only a re-design in appearance but also in the layout. The previous floorplan did not focus on space-saving or functional use. Our team created a functional floorplan and design.

The new floorplan design required that we rearrange the large appliances, but the water lines meant the sink had to remain. This project included removal of stipple ceiling, new drywall and patching in places, new paint on ceilings and walls, new flooring, kitchen backsplash, all new cabinetry, and new trim.

Renovation success! A much improved floorplan to maximize the useable space for cooking, countertops, and seating in this small kitchen. Not to mention an updated and brighter design!

At this stage, we had completed all the demolition (removal of old cabinetry, tile, counters and flooring) and installed the new modern tile flooring.

Zurich - Complete kitchen and dining room renovation

This open-concept kitchen and dining room had seen better days. Built in the 1960s, this bungalow had been patched together over the decades with layers of linoleum flooring, used cabinetry, soft ceiling tiles, and oil based paints.

We removed all the old cabinetry and counters, soft ceiling tiles, 3 layers of linoleum flooring, placed temporary studs so we could shift and expand the opening that previously made a dark narrow hallway.

By removing the wall separating the dining room from the second bedroom, we will be able to create a large pantry in the dining room, as well as a larger closet in the adjacent bedroom.

We removed the wall between the hallway and the kitchen, creating a more open-concept layout, larger dining area, and adding a main floor laundry closet!

Renovation success! By moving the stove, we were able to create more storage, more counter space, and a more functional work flow in the kitchen. New flooring, paint, cabinets, counters, backsplash and pot lights complete this lovely kitchen remodel!
